Exceptional pair of colonial era Anglo-Indian folding garden armchairs c.1900. Densely carved padouk wood frames with remarkably fine carved and pierced tracery panels of vine leaves and grapes. With brass inlays to the arms and the top of the back rests, the carving is continued on the rear of the chairs. Excellent condition with original canework seats and brass stays.
