A Mid 18th Century Welsh Oak Dresser

Probably Carmarthenshire circa 1780

The open Rack over two drawer base with an intricately shaped apron over turned front legs united by a box stretcher.

The rack has been cropped at some stage to fit a shorter ceiling with a slight slant to the top.

A good solid dresser with a tale to tell ,the back legs have been spliced and rear stretcher are later and a repair has been done to the facing front right top of the apron .

Oak chunky drawers with swan handles and a good colour and patina.

Good size at

58.5" Wide

17.5" Deep

30.5"High to base

71" overall height.
