An interesting, unusual and most elegant antique / vintage candle stand, with integral overhanging oil / incense warmer.

Beautifully hand-crafted and fashioned from wrought iron.

The sconce fitted with a 'pricket' type candle spike, with a surrounding brace to help keep the candle upright. There is a design flourish below, with a twisting vine and leaf motif, as detailed in the close up shot.

A nicely thought out piece and the work of a good mind and skilled hand.

Very much in the manner of the Aesthetic movement, this wonderful stand has several styling cues redolent of the designs of Dr. Christopher Dresser and the metalwork produced by Benham and Froud. The numerous metalworks produced by the Cotswold School also spring to mind.
