A Pair of Solid Teak Vintage Round Table Lamps
A Pair of 60s Vintage Teak Table Lamps
These solid teak lamps were most likely handmade by a carpenter in England in the 1960s. They are made with pieces of teak of varying colour and each with its own unique grain, creating a chequer-board pattern. The bases are covered with protective felt. The lamps have been paired with new shades.
The lamps have been carefully restored the wood has been stripped, oiled and finished with a protective wax, and the lamps have been fully rewired with new flex, bayonet cap lamp holders and plugs, all in stylish black. The lamp with the darker teak has a small, shallow dent around 1cm long (see last picture) but this is only visible when the lamp is on and close up.
