An early 19th century, flame mahogany drop leaf pedestal occasional table in the manner of Thomas Hope.
The top is veneered in book matched plain mahogany. The turned central baluster pedestal, heavily carved with acanthus detail, is supported on four boldly carved lion paw feet each concealing one the original brass castors. English, circa 1810.
