An Arts & Crafts Oak Hathaway dresser. This famous Liberty's oak dresser was designed by Leonard Wyburd for Liberty's & Co, London circa 1900. The raised and shaped gallery above an overhanging cornice with an open central upper section that has a single plate shelf above a break-front central section incorporating a cutlery drawer, with brass handles. Flanked by twin "sentry box" cupboards each having a bulls eye hand blown glass panel and with brass escutcheons, which open to reveal shelved storage space. There is a further central open storage area to the base, above this is an an angular apron, the whole raised on simple block feet. This dresser is made from solid oak and bears an ivorine Liberty's label circa 1900. There are keys for the locks.

Condition This dresser is in excellent original condition.
