A late 18th century oak armchair in superb condition, lovely colour and patina. Sound in wind and limb the chair is firm in all joints and has lost nothing in seat height. Although purchased just over the border from Wales the incredible weight of the oak used to make this chair is more than reminiscent of the slow grown Oaks in Wales at altitude just below the tree-line. A chair useful anywhere around the house from the desk to the landing or the long gallery.
