A Garret Chest is one that can be broken down to give ease of access usually to a garret room or attic bedroom
The chest has 5 long drawers they are made in beautifully figured Mahogany and run very smoothly they have their original brass swan neck handles and escutcheons
This is a big chest of drawers and it stands on a bracket footed plinth and it has a very attractive cross banded inlaid solid mahogany top with a moulded edge
The chest of very solid construction it has no creaks, splits or woodworm and it is in good condition with age related marks
