A Fine 18th Century Wing Back Chair.
A fine 18th century velvet upholstered wing back chair.
Having a deep seat and ribbed back and standing on ball and claw feet with square sabre legs at the back. The legs have a good cruddy patina and the left back leg has had a break at some stage where a metal plate has been introduced, Thought the leg has had a break the chair is solid.
The velvet on the chair is quite faded in places and would benefit from being reupholstered or could be left as it is II its current country house state.
This is a fabulous looking chair and would suit any period home.
