Antique WW11 period ship telegraph maritime instrument, c 1940. It is marked with the makers name 'A. Robinson and Co, Liverpool' and I was informed it was from a minesweeper? It is in good original condition with minor surface wear to the case. The main body is painted red which appears original. The wheel may have been repainted as it is a mix of silver and black paint? The wheel rotates well and the dial moves freely across the various settings. The internal workings appear to be complete (but I am not an expert). It has aged well with good colour/patina and nice distressed look to the paintwork.
