Huge Antique Double Sided Partners Desk.
Huge Antique Double Sided Partners Desk.
This is a fabulous, 19th century antique work station, made in pine with the original mid 19th century paint finish.
Originally made and used for an English country house estate office around1850.
Well made throughout with very good quality Hobbs & Co locks.
The top is unusual as the show wood is in oak with inset panels of original leather like surfaces, this is worn but in good useable order.
A useful extra is the lift up writing slopes on each side, these are pulled into position using the brass handles.
Being double sided, this antique partners desk is made to stand away from a wall and can be used by two people at once.
This antique partners desk has lots of storage drawers, these all run freely and are in good condition.
In lovely condition and made to a very high standard.
Ready to work!
