6 x Bright Cut Silver Teaspoons, Sheffield, 1937

This is an elegant set of 6 Bright Cut Sterling Silver Teaspoons with an attractive feathered edge on the stems. The Teaspoons are made in Sheffield by silversmiths Lee & Wigfull in a heavy gauge of silver and date to just before WW2 in 1937, although the design harks back to Georgian spoons of the late 1700s. There is no personalisation of any kind. The hallmarks on the back of the stems are well struck and clear to read.
The Teaspoons are in very good condition with no dings or dents and only the most minimal wear and tear and the bright cut engraving catches the light beautifully. These would enhance any teatime gathering. Please make sure to view all the photos.
The spoons are each 10.9cm long and the set of 6 weighs in at a substantial 73.9g.
The hallmarks are the lion passant for Sterling Silver, the crown assay mark for Sheffield, the letter u for 1937 and the H.W makers' mark for Henry Wigfull of Lee & Wigfull.
Shipping in the UK is £4 for Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For.
