19thC Swedish campaign type settee
This is a very nice mahogany Swedish campaign type dismantlable settee. It is in good order and has had replacement locking wedges fitted, the seat, side wings and back are all removeable with the wings and back being in an original stripped vintage Laura Ashley ticking whilst the seat pad is in calico all ready for recovering. This settee was part of Sir Bernard Ashleys estate that was sold following his passing in 2009.
The finish has been waxed to put a little lift into the polish, there are old marks, scratches, dents and minor veneer chips but nothing untoward.
Measures 1.7 metres wide by 70cm deep and 82cm high at the arms, the seat sits at 48cm high.
