19thC Golden Oak Cylinder top desk
A fabulous example of a Victorian Cylinder top kneehole desk in a rare Golden oak. Having just spent a considerable amount of money to get this into this very clean and highly usable condition it is ready to grace any home or office. The interior, which has just had the triple leathers replaced in a dark green hide with a gold tooled edge, actually slides out to give a full desk working are. The leathers lift, so make the perfect space for storing your lap top when you are not using it. The centre section will lift and hold in position to give a writing or reading slope, please see pictures.
A really superb desk that can be closed when not in use. The base having 9 drawers gives lots of space for files etc and the pretty interior drawers and storage spaces give so much more than a normal desk. A couple of oak desk chairs are available to go with this if required.
This desk could go anywhere it is an impressive item in great condition that is highly functional.
