19th Century Wing Arm Chair in Queen Anne Manner

A comfortable and beautiful mid 19th Century winged armchair – broad and deep – newly upholstered in a top quality heavyweight wool and linen fabric.
The chair’s showframe is mahogany and of Queen Anne design with fine cabriole legs to front carved with drop bell husks at the knees and with turned Braganza feet.
The hocked back legs well shaped and all united with beautifully turned stretchers.
The back rail with carved cresting.
The shape is lovely and the back has a gentle rake and broad and deep seat, wide enough to curl up in.
No worm, repairs or weak joints.
A really good and eyecatching chair of well balanced proportions and craftsman made.
Dimensions are:
36.5 inches high, 26.5 inches wide, 26.5 inches deep (max) and 26.5 inches from floor to top of arm.
Seat height from floor is 18.5 inches.
Width between arms is approximately 22 inches and depth of seat is 18 inches. I describe and photograph my pieces accurately and with the aim that on arrival each will exceed expectations.
I operate a full refund guarantee and am always happy to give free, honest and friendly advice.
