An exceptionally fine walnut circular library table, the frieze housing 4 locking and 4 dummy drawers. The tapering legs with ebony and boxwood stringing terminate on spade feet. The top of this antique walnut veneered table is crossbanded in yew wood and finely strung in ebony and boxwood. The centre motif, a Maltese cross, is superbly inlaid in yew wood. The table is a wonderful colour and is in excellent condition. A most unusual and outstanding table of grace and exceptional craftsmanship.
