19th Century Regency Blond Mahogany Cylinder desk


A superb 19th Century Regency Blond Mahogany Cylinder desk
The desk is an elegant piece in the regency style, it is pretty light colour, the bureau is made in Blonde Mahogany and Figured Walnut and inlaid with Satinwood and Box Wood Stringing, it stands on slender tapering legs
The desk top pulls out from the cylinder to reveal fitted drawers and shelves, there are more leathered slides on either side. The drawers have unusual brass escutcheons and the one on the left is a dummy double drawer with a safe hidden in the back of it
The Desk is in good condition for its age, there is a little chipping of the veneers on the right hand side and the leather is a little scuffed but not torn and it comes with original keys
