19th c. Burr walnut tilt top table c.1880. Quarter-veneered oval top, with thumb molded edge and extensive boxwood and hairwood floral inlays over an interesting ‘cage’ shaped column. Top can be tipped to vertical when not in use, locking into place with the brass catch. Raised on three cabriole legs with crisp floral carving to the knees. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
