A high quality 1950s Stratton branded makeup compact, which is suitable for loose and solid face powder. Rimmel, CCUK, Max Factor and Miss Beauty 67 mm diameter pans of powder are an ideal fit. The delightful cobalt blue enamel lid is decorated with a gilt star motif. The whole piece is in excellent condition. The catches and hinges work perfectly The mirror gives a clear and accurate reflection. The original box, signed luxury puff, velour edged sifter, padded paper insert, instruction leaflets and pouch are present. Measures 3" and weighs 93.5 grams.
