1907 Silver Half Hunter Pocket Watch And Chain
1907 silver half hunter pocket watch and double albert.
The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 46mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the case back for London 1907, together with an importer's mark for George Stockwell.
From 1 June 1907, Stockwells acted as assay agents, facilitating the import into Britain of foreign gold and silver items, which had to be assayed and hallmarked in a UK assay office before being released for retail.
The front of the case is in good condition. The back has three little “dings”. The back is also engraved with the initials JC.
The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition.
The dial is in very nice condition and has blued steel hands, including the special half hunter hour hand, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
Also included is a silver double albert with each chain measuring 17cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.
The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box. ALL PRICES INCLUDE UK POSTAGE.
