Rare late 18th.c. oak chest of drawers c.1790. Superb decorative front featuring a dental cornice (continued on the sides) over four graduating drawers with raised mouldings to the fronts. Brass drop handles and escutcheons, with panelled sides, raised on bracket feet. Solid oak carcass and drawer linings. The handles are later replacements, otherwise very good condition, solid and sturdy and particularly good colour. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
