This 18th Century style large Silver Sugar Castor is of octagonal shape, with a detachable pierced finial.
The sugar castor weighs 187g and measures 215mm x 72mm.
Made by well known Silversmith Mappin & Webb and Hallmarked in the Sheffield Assay Office in 1913.
The castor has a couple of minor dents as shown in posted images but is otherwise in good condition.
