18th Century ash elm armchair chair hall side

Antique 18th Century ash & elm armchair.
A great chair with a lot of age and charm. A rare find.
Lovely proportions and styling. Great colour.
Amazing wear and patina ...the best.
Solid, with no loose joints.
Overall maximum dimensions:
57cmW x 54cmD x 103cmH (42cmH seat).
Historic knocks, marks, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture. Historic extinct woodworm holes (to be expected with period elm) that have been treated for good measure. The rush seat is old, but still strong and usable. There is an historic iron strengthening plate under one arm.
