1881 The Works Of William Shakespeare in Four Vols
'The Works Of William Shakespeare [Edited, With A Scrupulous Revision Of The Text By Charles & Mary Howden]'.
The work is complete in four volumes. Each volume is fully bound in a tree calf leather with red and black leather title panels to the spine, five raised raised and detailed gilt stamped decoration. There is an small area of discolouration to the spine of the second volume. The board of Volume I is partially detached but present. The back board of Volume I shows scuffing.
Marbles page edges. Marbled endpapers. Bookplate to front pastedown dated 1886. Internally all volumes remain in a very good condition.
