Description
A sixteenth century Swatow dish or charger. I thought originally that the brown under the foot was the result of a hanging patch being glued on but since researching Swatow pieces the majority of them have this effect. Research also shows that had it not been broken and repaired the auction price of such a piece would have started with a one in front of the price I'm asking, much to my surprise.DateLate 16th Century :

ConditionSound but repaired, has been in half but from the topside doesn't notice much.
