I can't understand why these aren't so popular that they cost a small fortune, they are so elegant and so practical. If you are an old fashioned sort that takes an alcoholic cordial, a fortified herbal beverage, then these are indispensable. If you partake of a sherry before and a port after dinner then there can be nothing finer. Bought as single glasses it's not difficult to collect a set of similar types which can be honed over time and such quality today is hardly obtainable. These were blown, hand worked, shaped and cut by skilled craftsmen and have lasted 200 years, that's a service record to have.
