Description

This table is cause for a little uncertainty, although found in deepest south west Wales I haven't seen any like this that can be said are definitely Welsh. It has parallel legs, not splayed and chamfered triangular legs not four sided as the norm. For this reason alone I have described it as English but I'd like to be wrong. The top appears to have always been plain but the undercarriage has much of it's original dark finish remaining. All this points to a late 18th century table around 1780/90.
