Description

This amazing fish was caught in 1979 and became the British record for a rod caught grey mullet. I'm amazed to find that this still stands today, it has not been bettered. The fish is in super condition and inside the case is clean and tidy if a little minimalist. The bow front case is secure and sealed, along the lower couple of inches are 2 lines of script in gold paint giving the details. Caught by R. Gifford at Aberthaw, October 1979. As close as I can measure it the fish is about 28" nose to tail.
