An original and iconic 1937 design blue Alphabet/ABC mug by Eric Ravilious for Wedgwood.A lovely example with no chips, cracks,hairlines, transfer loss or smudges. There is though some very fine micro crazing visible on close up inspection. One minute underglaze dust spot to the interior. Strong bright colours and an early original example with pattern number CL6261 on the base dating to 1937. A design classic! 8.2cm high (3.25 inches)
