Description

A stunning and rare hand painted Foley cup and saucer designed by Allan Walton for the 1934 Harrods and 1935 Art in Industry Exhibitions. The cup does have a fine hairline which can be seen in the last 2 photos but still rings when tapped. Any marks are light reflection. 2 very tiny kiln resting points on the underside of the saucer are unglazed. These pieces have been hand painted so may show the odd miss. Please see the photos.
Cup 6.5cm
Saucer 14.5cm dia
