Description
A stunning lamp base in the Fiesta pattern by Jessie Tait for Clayburn Pottery. Clayburn worked along side Midwinter producing a matching range of lamp bases, vases, condiment sets and other 'fancies' to compliment Midwinters tea, coffee and dinner services. Jessie Tait supervised production of her own pieces working at Clayburn in the evenings. The company only traded for 7 years between 1953 and 1960. Needs wiring but is fitted with a wire feeder.Date1950s

ConditionVery Good. Some very light crazing in one section noticed if viewed closely - and a sliver on the centre base (under the word 'England' has been filled. Unnoticeable though and does not detract. No chips, cracks or hairlines. Paintwork is excellent.
