Description

A large Georgian oak chest on chest.

Two small drawers over three large in the top section,
Three small shallow vanity drawers over three large drawers in the bottom section.
It measures 111cms wide (max at base) by 55cms deep by 191cms tall.
It splits in two for ease of transport, the bottom section is 93cms tall and the top is 98cms tall.

Very good original condition for age,
Splits / parting of planks to side panels and between side and front.
Original brass handles with some damage to the three lower right. The far right knob of the vanity drawers is missing its brass button front.
Repair to veneer at the top.
Repairs and strengtheners to front feet.
Piece of moulding missing at the top right side.
The moulding to the lower right side incomplete.
A few old woodworm holes, fully treated and not live.
Back boards are replacements.

I have listed all its faults and foibles but it's very original and spectacular, with lovely proportions.
