Philip Pimlott(1871-1960) = E.Philip Pimlott A.R.E. exhibited in London c.1893-1940. He was elected associate of the Royal Society of Painter Etchers in 1901 but ceased his association with the Society after 1911.
A collection of 3 etchings all housed in there original inlaid framed and all signed and dated 1912. The etchings are of Great Court, Trinity College Cambridge, Kings College Chapel Cambridge and Gate of Hounor, Gonville and Caiuus College, Cambridge. They all measure the same size 29 cm high and 20.1 cm wide. The inlaid frames are truely beautiful. The ecthings have never been out of the frames, some marks to etchings consistent with age.
