Vintage English 9ct Gold Opal Earrings - 1950's

Description
Made in 1954, these delightful hand crafted vintage gold & opal earrings are a rather unique pair.The design is a really unusual fusion of Art Deco and Art Nouveau that I haven't come across before.
Each earring is set with a fiery white opal cabochon, with screw back closure stamped '9ct'.
There is a full set of English hallmarks on one for Chester and year '1954'.
Maker's mark: 'WJP' for William John Pellow, I believe.
Measurements: 13 x 15 mm, with a 6 mm diameter to the opals
They come in very good condition for age and would make a fantastic gift.
