Description

A fine Russian silver snuff box with niello decoration. This lovely box is intricately engraved with images of The State Hermitage Museum & Alexander Column in St. Petersburg on the top side with The Kremlin on the reverse. This piece is stamped 84 as the silver standard. The assayers mark of HA for Nikolay Dubrovin circa 1840, Town mark for Moscow and the makers mark of EE, unfortunately we cannot attribute these letters/Cyrillic's to a known maker.
