A lovely Edwardian oak mantel clock by Dent of London, who have made some of the most iconic clocks in British history including the Great Clock in the Houses of Parliament, the largest public clock at St, Pancras International station and not forgetting that Winston Churchill's first watch was a Dent. This particular piece has classic architectural form with a nice white enamelled dial with fine black Roman numerals. The movement is a mechanical 8-day striking on a bell. It has been fully restored and in full working condition. c1910. NB Please note there is a small chip to the dial at 12 o'clock please see the images.
