Double Page Jobbing Printing of The Royal Strand Theatre Poster dated circa 1888. The Royal Strand Theatre was re-built in 1882 by the Theatre Architech Charles Phipps and was demolished in 1905 to make way for the Aldwych Tube Station. Printed Wood Type and Letterpress by Merser & Gardner of Kensington. There are over 20 different type faces used on this poster.
