Hand Written Letter and Envelope addressed to Colonel L Gardenier from Lady Costila Rosalind Granville, wife of Granville George Leveson-Gower, 2nd Earl Granville, dated March 23rd 1882.
The letter states that Lady Granville would be happy to give her name and patronace of the amature preformance at
Bridgewater House in Cleveland Row, Westminster (A Home of Leveson-Gower and Gallery) and requests two tickets for the performance.
the letter is on handmade laid paper with Britannia Watermark.

The Envelope has a One Penny Lilac Postage Stamp. Has 4 London Postal Frankings. The reverse of the Envelope has Lady Costila's Coronet and name printed on.
