Certificate of Payment/Renewal to The Papent Office, London on the 24th June 1897. Haseltine Laker & Co., (Patent Attorneys) paid £7.00 for the renewal. The Patent was originally patented in 1891 on behalf of The British Gas Traction Company. The British Gas Traction Company was incorporated in 1896 and was set up to operate gas-powered Trams, initially in Blackpool, St. Annes and Lytham, the first such Tramways in Britain.DateLate 19th Century :
