Description

This is a showcase cabinet of the highest quality. It is Walnut with Brass framing and is made by the renowned Siegel of Paris and dates from approx c1900s. The cabinet has two sliding glass doors to the back and two glass shelves on brass supports with cast brackets. The base of the cabinet internally has a walnut parquetry base with ebony cross banding. Emphasising the quality of the cabinet is the brass adjustable feet to ensure level standing. This showcase cabinet would suit many uses both commercial or in the home as well as museum or other settings in which a quality display is required. The cabinet has been well loved and looked after and only has the odd bruise etc. that one would expect to see nothing major or worth mentioning.
