Rare 1940s Stratton 'Punt' tennis, football, cricket, skating, hockey, boxing, sporting compact

This vintage powder compact is suitable for modern loose face powders.

This is a rare Stratton 'Punt' powder compact in good condition. The whole compact is a deep gold colour which you associate with brass vanities over 60 years old. On the lid sportsmen & women are shown playing tennis, football, hockey, cricket & also skating & boxing too. The original puff & sifter are present & a black felt pouch too. The lid lifts to reveal a beautifully gilded interior & a good mirror. The mirror bezel is signed 'STRATTON MADE IN ENGLAND'. All clasps & hinges work perfectly.

This vintage compact mirror measures 2 3/8" X 2 1/4" & weighs 63.3 grams.
