A gleaming gold plated vintage Stratton powder compact which has never been used.

The lid is decorated with the most elaborately engraved gilded design which features ornate acanthus leaves fashioned to form heart shapes.

The original presentation box, pouch, luxury puff, sifter and instruction leaflet are included.

The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection.

The catch and hinge work perfectly.

The base of the compact is signed Stratton ENGLAND.

The gilded brass is lacquered and so it will not tarnish or need to be cleaned.

Measures 7.5 cm diameter. Weighs 73.6 grams.

This Stratton Mini-Convertible compact is suitable as a handbag mirror and also for use with all loose foundation and pressed foundation pans measuring 59-67 mm diameter.
