A beautiful unused 1950s Stratton Lilac Convertible powder compact which is presented in the original box.

The underside of the box is stamped with the item code 363/368 LILAC.

The lid is embellished with translucent lilac enamel which is decorated with bamboo plants and lovely yellow flowers.

The original pouch, puff, sifter and padded paper insert are also to be found in the presentation box.

The catches and hinges work perfectly.

The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection.

The mirror frame is signed Stratton ENGLAND IN ENGLAND.

Measures almost 8 cm diameter. Weighs 95.3 grams.

This Stratton Convertible compact is suitable as a handbag mirror and also for use with all loose foundation and pressed foundation pans measuring 59-67 mm diameter.
