Edwardian Arts and Crafts fire screen featuring a simple oak frame flanked by barley twist supports and a glazed hand-stitched tapestry in the manner of William Morris.

Very good quality Arts and Crafts Movement fire screen, in an excellent antique condition.

Beautifully decorative Arts and Crafts fire screen featuring a stunning hand stitched tapestry in the style of William Morris.  The long stitch work is a really pretty floral composition with fabulous Arts and Crafts colours. Dated c. 1900-1910.

Very good antique condition - a few scuffs to the frame but nothing which compromises the overall beauty and craftsmanship of this piece.  Wear is commensurate with the age of this piece. Please see photos for details.

A really super Arts and Crafts piece that would serve just as well as a decorative item as an alternative to its intended purpose as a fire screen.
