Description

A beautiful satinwood and inlaid bijouterie cabinet in the Sheraton style and dating to the late Victorian period. Edged in straight grain walnut and with boxwood and ebony stringing this all original piece features a swan neck pediment centred by a central inlaid shell and above a simulated inlaid dentil frieze. The top with glazed sides and doors opening to reveal two shelves with string inlaid fronts. The lower section with a display case with lift up lid and supported on square tapering legs terminating in brass caps and brown pottery castors.

In very good condition and recently repolished this lovely item comes with a key for the upper door. The dark burgundy baize in the lower cabinet is original and therefore showing signs of age (wear and marks).
