Set of 10 Walnut Dining Chairs, c.1930’s
Description
A good quality set of ten dining chairs in a simple Art Deco style and dating to c.1930. Designed with sturdy walnut frames and tan leatherette backs with brass studs and drop in seats, they stand on cabriole legs with pad feet and square tapering legs to the rear. This is an original set (not made up) comprising two carver armchairs and eight side chairs and some of the styling has similarities to chairs by Heals.All the chairs are in sound condition, there are some fading and marks and wear to the polish

Side chairs - 20 1/2in wide x 19 1/2in deep x 35in high (52cm x 49.5cm x 89cm)
Arm chairs - 24 3/4in wide x 22 5/8in deep x 38in high (63cm x 67.5cm x 96.5cm)
Seat heights - 18 1/2in high (47cm) with the armchairs being 1in (2.5cm) higher
