Description

A superb mahogany sofa table, showcasing rich fiddleback veneers and graceful proportions. The front features two drawers with brass handles, mirrored by dummy drawers to the reverse for visual symmetry. The top is beautifully figured, with twin leaves supported by hinged loafers that allow for flexible use. The table stands on two finely carved end supports with a platform base, terminating in striking brass lion’s paw feet. While minor age-related imperfections are present, the piece remains solid and beautifully patinated, a handsome and versatile addition to any hallway, drawing room, or study. The table measures 154cm when open.
