Description

This highly decorative pair of porcelain figures are beautifully modelled with very good detail and depict a pair of Chinese temple Buddhist lions in the classical pose each sitting on a rectangular pedestal with one paw raised. One is resting on a decorative ball and the other a juvenile Buddhist lion each with an open mouthed expression showing good detail to their teeth and tongues These pleasing figures are finished with a vivid turquoise blue glaze. In excellent unrestored condition.
