Description

This fine 19th century pair of highly decorative turned and finely carved English walnut Victorian candlesticks stand to a good oversized height and proportions. Intricately turned and then superbly hand carved with an 18th century acanthus leaf design, mounted with cast brass removable sconces. These candlesticks are in very good condition with a rich dark patina and a lovely mellow colour which is very pleasing to the eye.
