Description

Unusual Arts & Crafts wall screen with lift up shelves and William Morris linen fabric panels attributed to Liberty but with no label. They used the Mashrabaya and Moorish arches on many of their furniture as part of their exotic range.
It has eight Moorish arches to the base and Mashrabaya turnings to the top. The fabric could be easily changed as held in place with removable bars.
This closes flat when not in use.
Offered in good condition except for the centre cross of one of the Mashrabaya inserts. Minor marks to walnut.
Height of each of the two sides 108cms. Width 43cms. Depth when shelf in place 11cms.
Perfect for hiding an untidy corner!
